Another Shoreham man

Hi one and all

Can any one help with this man?

He was wounded in 2nd Ypres and then went to a flying school at Hendon

Transferred to the RFC and served with 25 Squadron and then took command of 29 Squadron.

Came to Shoreham 10-3-1919 to command S E A F I S

He left the service soon after.

Anything on him would be good

Thanks

Tim

There are 2 CH Dixons. Cecil Hargreaves killed 1917 and Charles Herbert. So be careful with records.

Charles Herbert was ex KOYLI and MC, I think.

I've filtered out the Cecil Hargreaves refs I think so this is what airhistory.org gives for Charles Herbert; gives you a lot to follow up.
