The writers group, 26, in conjuction with the Imperial War Museum have come together to mark the Centenery of the First World War through the power of words. The 26 Group have choosen 100 writers to prepare a "centena", a poem of exactly 100 words begining and ending with the same three words. Each writer has choosen a person who was alive at the begining of the war and each subject came from all around the world and from all walks of life.  You can find more information on the project here. Each of the centenas will be published on a daily basis from the 5th August with the last one on 12th November. I have to declare an interest since my wife was one of the 100 writers choosen for this project.

The centenas are being published through a crowdfunding page here and all profits are being donated to the charity War Child.

Best Wishes
