Guest Posted 25 July , 2018 Share Posted 25 July , 2018 Hi there, a few months ago I found this bayonet in my grandma's old stuff. I remembered that she told me about how she found it in her attic (she is French, situated in Normandy). I would like to know what this bayonet actually is, it is a BK and has a similar form to others I have seen when ww1 BK bayonet is searched up. However, this bayonet is serrated and I have found no bayonet like it. Please help!

trajan Posted 2 August , 2018 Share Posted 2 August , 2018 Yes an excellent find! Made late 1914-mid 1915. I can't remember the proportions of sawback to non-sawback Seitengewehr 1914's, but it was usually around 6%.
