T8HANTS Posted 19 July , 2018 Share Posted 19 July , 2018 Many years ago I had a junior officers tunic to the Ox & Bucks Light Infantry. The only distinguishing feature that I can remember was sewn onto the back of the neck just below the collar was some form of formation sign consisting of a pyramid, possibly with a squared off base, with another identical pyramid 'balancing' on the point of the first. I have often wondered if this would have helped narrow down the owner's battalion, as I can't remember if there was a name inside. So I'm just curios if anyone can shed any light on its history. Sadly it was stolen along with a lot of my collection when a boy came through the roof space and helped himself. The police weren't interested in recovering anything, even when I proved the junk dealer who had it, because they had the offender, case closed!
