Premy Chapel Ridge - Map Reference?

Recommended Posts

Could anyone give me the trench map co-ordinates for Premy Chapel Ridge, near Flesquieres, please?

I can't see it on the maps, but believe it to be south-east of Flesquieres.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Ken

Rats Alley have Premy Chapel as Map Sheet 57cNE4 Marcoing, with Map Ref as L16 c, there is no reference to a P C Ridge.

They do however have a P Road, P Support, P Switch, P Trench an P Wood, all on same map sheet.

Thanks John.

Using your reply and looking at the map again, I found it. It is in L15d. I was looking south-east of Flequieres and should have been looking to the north-east.

Much appreciated.

Premy Chapel is shown at 15 d. 6. 7 and looks to be at the top of a ridge

Thanks Don.

The 3rd Bn. Grenadier Guards were in this area on 8th October, 1918 and I am plotting their route of advance.

Hi Don

Looks like I need to alter my text in the book, thanks for the link showing the map extract.
