Morning Folks - Could anyone help identify those Remembered on Wimblebury War Memorial in time for a WW1 Bench Dedication...

Ive also identified 7 men who are not on the rolls who came from Wimblebury but moved on.

Didn't think it was going to be possible to find them all before Sunday...

 

'Trying to find relatives of tbe following who are commemorated on the War Memorial at Wimblebury Staffordshire. There will be a WW1 Bench Dedication ceremony at the War Memorial at the junction of John Street/Wimblebury Road on Sunday 22.07.2018 at 1230. The Wreath of Respect will be at the ceremony and light refreshments will be served afterwards. 

We would like to know the Branch of the Armed Forces any of the above named served in and Regiment the were assigned to if possible.'

 

Anyone interested in the Event details as above - please say hello to Berni Wilkins 'Wreath of Respect'

Harold Ronald Hill CADE Private 5933453 Cambs  From Cambridge but resided in Wimblebury

'We're delighted Bugler Steven Taylor & Members of the Staffordshire Regimental Association will be joining us at the WW1 Bench Dedication Ceremony for the fallen named on Wimblebury War Memorial on Sunday 22.07.18. 

It is hoped relatives of the fallen will be in attendance at the ceremony at the War Memorial on Wimblebury Road opposite the Lamb & Flag WS12 7RJ and afterwards for light refreshments at the Community Centre next to the War Memorial. All Welcome. Ceremony will commence at 1230 hrs please be in place by 1215. 
Many thanks to Ray Smythe Wimblebury & Heath Hayes Parish Council for organising.
