McCudden's CWGC entry has

Died 09/07/1918, Aged 23 60 Sqdn. Royal Air Force V.C., D.S.O. and Bar, M.C. and Bar, M.M., Mentioned in Despatches Croix de Guerre (France). Son of Amelia E. McCudden, of "Pitlochry," 37, Burton Rd., Kingston-on-Thames, and the late William McCudden. His brothers William T.J. McCudden and John Anthony McCudden also fell.

Assume the "Pitlochry" reference is the name of the family home, and if so, is there any family connection to the town of Pitlochry, Perthshire, 15 miles from my own town of Aberfeldy.

Thanks David. Named by a previous owner had crossed my mind, checking earlier census-good thinking. Will see if can find anything later. I rather doubt the connection, but, you never know, and it would be of great local interest if there was a link established.
