I have exhausted every avenue looking for the last resting place for this man but to no avail.

There are several trees on Ancestry but no-one seems to know where he was buried.

Can anyone shed any light on this problem?

Are you sure he was buried and not cremated?

I think cremation may be the answer as Ancestry.Ca has a search option for locating graves and he doesn't feature. Nor did a general internet search find him in Toronto cemeteries.

Can you find a funeral notice in any of the local Toronto newspapers?

Sorry couldn't be more help.

Have you contacted the 'owners' of the family trees on Ancestry?

Not what you asked for but some more information for his bio:

Hi

As suggested above, I would contact the owner of the tree with his photograph and death shown in Canada. He last signed in on Ancestry today.

Hi Stuart and all,

Had a message from the tree owner, she confirms he died in Toronto and a service was held at a local funeral parlour but no further details re burial or cremation.

He had a daughter Iris Alice who was married in Sept.1951 in Stroud, Gloucestershire (7b, 1507) to Leonard Byron Peterson. She and he departed Avonmouth on 23rd Sept.1951 for Montreal, Canada.  Address given 2 Podsmead Road, Gloucester. Perhaps her father was present at the wedding....looking. His wife died on 17th Oct, 1958 in Gloucester, I wonder if that is when he went to Canada.?

Regards Barry
