51st Sikhs Posted 5 July , 2018 Share Posted 5 July , 2018 (edited) Hi all, This photo has me stumped. Despite the unique looking 5th looking capbadge, is he a 5th Seaforth Piper after all? The more I look at it, the more doubtful I've become. Any help? Edited 5 July , 2018 by 51st Sikhs

Dragoon Posted 5 July , 2018 Share Posted 5 July , 2018 Hello The sporran badge looks distinctly like Seaforths, is that a Canadian maple leaf collar badge? Chris
gordon92 Posted 5 July , 2018 Share Posted 5 July , 2018 Definitely a puzzler.....As noted previously, it definitely looks like a Seaforth sporran cantle and possibly a Maple Leaf collar badge. The belt buckle appears to be a Star within a circlet. The plaid brooch looks close to a Black Watch design. Further, the cap badge resembles the South African Brigade design. The doublet is ill fitting with the sleeves much too short. I would go with a civilian piper.
Ron Abbott Posted 25 July , 2018 Share Posted 25 July , 2018 mish mash of furniture etc. I'd also say civilian.
