David David, I presume your post is relating to your Grandfather. According to the RC records he was only held at Laon, Dülmen and Münster 3 (which was in the Bergkaserne), there is no mention of Schneidemühl. David_Blanchard Posted 3 July , 2018 Author Share Posted 3 July , 2018 Hi Charlie, How did you work out it was my grandfather? You are quite right of course- Edward 'Ned' Burridge. Just wondering why the previous post JWK suggested Schneidemühl - any ideas? He was captured on 27 May 1918 at Craonne- so Laon is most probably right and on another record from RC he was held at Dulmen. Thanks for your help. David David, your signature, the names on the list and your post on the Schneidemühl Prison Camp thread, all a dead give away. I‘ve no idea why Schneidemühl was suggested. Münster 3 is also typewritten on the page before (PA36794) the one listing your Grandfather. Charlie
David_Blanchard Posted 3 July , 2018 Author Share Posted 3 July , 2018 Of course! It does seem strange that that particular camp was suggested
