And it's a relative simple one to maintain, compared with the intricacies of most of the other badges.

 

I remain doubtful about a new poppy badge having been carved on the same escarpment a couple of years ago, though it would seem that specific funding was sourced for its creation.

Regarding the Kiwi, recently I've been out that way twice on Sundays and though I knew where it was I didn't actually spot it because of trees at the bottom of the hill. But I'm very glad that it's been refurbished.

Moonie, the best view is from the track just east of Charlie 1 Tank Crossing.

 

Go in the afternoon when the sun is on the NW scarp slope of Bulford Ridge
