When running the AMS Museum I was again this because the whole idea of me retrieving the First World War documents back to the museum was to encourage more researchers to visit the museum.

I understand the logic here, but, I have to agree with D.O.

In my own case, living a couple of time zones away makes the 'in person' part highly unlikely

As the majority of those who aren't Library members accessing the archive will be directed to the museum as the source of the document this may yet be of benefit?
