This just popped up on my Facebook page and don't recall it being mentioned anywhere tho it may have been:

Archaeologists are currently excavating a German Hill fortress in Wijtschate, Flanders Fields, as part of a crowd-funded excavation. Constructed throughout the early years of the war, the fortress incorporates an intricate trench system built between farm buildings. It was re-taken by the British during the Battle of Messines and laid hidden until 2015 when discovered by archaeologists. The team has discovered the remains of 81 soldiers in the past few weeks. That is more than 4x the average number of soldiers found in Flanders in a typical year. They were expecting to find between 10 and 20 soldiers, and they think they might even find some more.
