im trying to match up the cap badge and shoulder badge and wanted to check that its the right regiment im looking for. Im certain of the cap badge being the kings own yorkshire Light infantry, its the shoulder badge i really need to confirm.

Also on the unform i have the marksman crossed guns and lance corporal, could someone kindly tell me is he a lance corporal or a marksman or even both. Thanks for your help.

The shoulder title for the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry is a curved YORKSHIRE title in gilding metal (brass) surmounted by a bugle horn; these were issued in matched pairs so that the bugle faced forwards on each shoulder.

The 4th and 5th territorial battalions wore a similar title surmounted by a T and a 4 or 5.
