MUTHILL (PERTHSHIRE.) — A war memorial to the men of Muthill village and parish who fell in the war was unveiled at a united open-air service of the Parish, United Free, and Episcopal Churclies . There was a largo assembly present , including the Earl of Ancaster . Drummond Castle , the lord of the manor , and Mr James Gardiner , M.P. for Kinross and West Perthshire . The memorial is a Celtic cross of Aberdeen granite , and stands about 12 feet high from the base . Tbo memorial was designed by Mr Charles T. Ewing, architect, Crieff. The unveiling ceremony was performed by the Earl of Ancaster.
