David_Underdown Posted 24 July , 2018 Share Posted 24 July , 2018 Ode to death also features in this coming Friday's (27 July) Prom, alongside Parry's 5th Symphony (B minor), RVW Lark Ascending, Parry, "Hear my words, ye people" (then the Holst), finishing with RVW's Pastoral Symphony (which draws on his wartime experience). BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Martyn Brabbins, Tai Murray (violin), Francesca Chiejina (soprano), Ashley Riches (Bass baritone), BBC National Chorus of Wales.
