alastaircox Posted 26 May , 2018 Share Posted 26 May , 2018 I am putting together a display for a MM winner, 2/7th Royal Warwickshire Regiment. The 2/7th were a Territorial unit, as such, please could someone advise which shoulder title they would have worn?

Before 1916 the ST comprised: R.WARWICKSHIRE surmounted by a ‘7’ surmounted again by a ‘T’ with serifs, generally all in one piece. It did not make any difference to the title if the battalion was 2nd Line, as in this case. Edited 26 May , 2018 by FROGSMILE
alastaircox Posted 26 May , 2018 Author Share Posted 26 May , 2018 Thank you, that is what I feared on the cost front. After 1916 did they all wear the standard R.WARWICKSHIRE title?

It is less clear what the 2nd Line units did. Edited 26 May , 2018 by FROGSMILE

trenchtrotter Posted 27 May , 2018 Share Posted 27 May , 2018 Post 1916 likely to have been just RWARWICKSHIRE also. No T and numeral. Done away with but seen side by side still.
