alistair_m Posted 24 May , 2018 Share Posted 24 May , 2018 Hi All Searching records for a friend and would like some info on the following if anyone can help? James Frew b1891 d? Shotts, Lanarkshire Son of John Frew & Flora Black. I have copies of part of his service record and Medal Cards, but no reference to any brigade or battery. Any assistance would be gratefully accepted. Alistair

charlie962 Posted 24 May , 2018 Share Posted 24 May , 2018 Since 19th Division crossed over to France 16-21 July 1915 and Frew's MIC says France 20/7/15 then reasonable to presume he went over with them ( Of course Service Record may show this anyway ?)
