If anyone has any info concerning this soldier, who died in Palestine on 28 November 1917, I would be most grateful. I believe he was my grandmother's fiance. She eventually married in 1930.

I presume that you have also checked CWGC site and found the following;

Died aged 25.

Son of Mr and Mrs John William Kennelly, 20 Vincent Street, Balsall Heath, Birmingham.

In March 1901 he was a 9 year old schoolboy living in Balsall Heath Birmingham.

In March 1901 he was a 9 year old schoolboy living in Balsall Heath Birmingham.

At that time the family was living at 64 Edward Road. Balsall Heath.

His father, John, was 34, a Press Tool Maker in the Brass and Iron, his mother Ellen, was 35 and he had a brother, William A (11) and a sister, Jessie (1)
