Hired Trawler and Tug deck log search.

Can anyone assist me to locate the deck logs for a number of hired trawlers, (for instance No.49 Frascati), which operated at Anzac in early 1915. I have found three of these trawlers within ADM53 at Kew but have been unable to locate the remainder. One post on this forum says there are some deck logs located within series BT337/* on on micro fiche at Kew.

There are also several tugs which to date I have not been able to locate, being T7 - T10, and a tug named 'Effie'.

Thank you also to all those concerned following a recent request for Kew files on transport ships out of Alexandria. A good friend will be visiting Kew soon to follow up on these leads.

Regards

Hi Rockturner,

Did you have any luck finding the log book of No 49 Frascati?  A relative of mine who served n the RN included 'Frascati 49' among the ships he had served on and he was in the Dardanelles from April 1915 and to early 1916 for mine sweeping duties.  Many thanks!  Ben
