I dont mind doing that for you. After all, I normally chunter away to myself while walking round, so for other people to see me talking to myself is completely normal.

You're telling me! The last time i went over there on my own I did 44 Cemeteries and Memorials, photographed 3 full Cemeteries and visited 2 Museums all in 4 days, and that was with a lot more mileage than I will do this time. The BIG day, day 2, looks manic but all of the Cemeteries are within a radius of about 25 miles, so easily do-able. Only a few miles between each one.

the worse thing  find about doing so many in a day is the getting in and out of the car...the rest is a walk in the park!!:D

Temptage,

Kind offer.  If you are at Le Touret Memorial and have the time, could I please request the following man, who will be with some other RWF men on the Addenda Panel -

JONES, W. Pte. 6487

They are mainly Festubert 1915 casualties who were originally assigned to the Ploegsteert Memorial in error, owing to a confusion as to their battalion.

Kind regards,

Clive

Theres a good chance that his name has not been added yet, as stated on his CWGC record (https://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/75228874/taylor,-thomas-a/)

NB.

This casualty has recently been accepted for commemoration by the Commission. However, it will not be possible to add his name to this Memorial immediately. Please contact the Commission before planning a visit, for more information.

I shall take a look anyway but I think we will draw a blank this time.

Yes I will get it for you. I only pointed it out in case you had the wrong spelling of his name on your records.
