Remembering my wife’s great uncle (mothers side) 37078 Pte George Boulter, C Company, 1/4th Kings Own Royal Lancaster Regiment,  KIA 100 years ago today on the 9th April 1918 aged 19, in the Defence of Givenchy.

Reported missing his body was found in September 1919, and laid to rest at Beuvry Communal Cemetery Extension.

And her other great uncle (fathers side) 14396 L/Cpl George William Nicholls also KIA during the same action, buried at Post Office Rifles Cemetery Festubert.
