Dai Bach y Sowldiwr Posted 3 April , 2018 Share Posted 3 April , 2018 (edited) Hi johnboy, If you enter it as 62D.U.27.b.3.8 into the Great War British Trench Map Converter, it will show you where it is in Google Maps or satellite view. (If all you get is a blue underwater volcano- check the input box again for any glitches- extra characters, symbols etc) http://rdf.muninn-project.org/TrenchCoordinates.html?q=62D.U.27.b.3.8 If you use the NLS site- you can actually overlay the Google map/satellite view with a Great War trench map: http://maps.nls.uk/geo/find/#zoom=10&lat=53.2773&lon=-4.3585&layers=60&b=1&point=0,0 (Somehow!) Phil Evans Posted 3 April , 2018 Share Posted 3 April , 2018 Johnboy, NLS doesn't appear to cover 62d SW. Try this one on McMasters, but you will have to do the overlay yourself, I'm afraid. Phil

WhiteStarLine Posted 3 April , 2018 Share Posted 3 April , 2018 johnboy, if you try tmapper.com, it will show you the location and give direct links to NLS, McMaster and Munin for additional mapping / comparison. tmapper has overlays but the NLS overlays are the most accurate.
