I'm in the proccess of selling some of my death plaques bought them years ago and now that the research is much easier to im slowly working my way through.

 

this one I was blown over by 

 

joined the army service corp in 1909 had 8 tattoos so started thinking abit of a rogue .

 

18 days on hospital with ghoneriea 

 

and served 3 months for hitting a officer

 

within a month after his sentance he drowned whilst swimming on the Somme. His colleagues thought he was larking about his body was never recovered .

 

stranger still he is on the arras memorial.

Yes just printed it out my word 

he was in the army from November 1909 til death 

 

it has a refrence from his employer 

 

a charge sheet as long as your arm 

 

he assaulted a police officer and ended up in Wandsworth jail

absent with out leave several times 

drunk a lot 

mused filthy language to a nco. Hit an nco.
