Coldstreamer Posted 30 March , 2018 Share Posted 30 March , 2018 (edited) Hello, Does Lt Col Gregge Hopwood DSO get mentioned in this book ? His family lived at Hopwood hall. He certainly did his bit, a career officer who was killed in action with the Coldstream Guards Cheers Edited 5 April , 2018 by Coldstreamer

Wexflyer Posted 5 April , 2018 Share Posted 5 April , 2018 (edited) It would help a lot to know which Middleton you are interested in. I somehow think it is not the one I am familiar with. Edited 5 April , 2018 by Wexflyer

Moonraker Posted 5 April , 2018 Share Posted 5 April , 2018 I didn't notice that - honest! There's no connection - (though the other week I noticed that someone was asking a very low price for unused copies of one of my books ). Moonraker

But the point is that that still does not do very much for me, as I am unfamiliar with the book. As my old Latin teacher used to say, perhaps I am an idler... anything you can do to make things easy for me is a good idea

Have you seen this photo with both Stephen Burton and Byng Hopwood? Just took 12 days before they were both killed by the same shell.
