Just back from our latest tip to Ypres with Mrs. Maldon, daughter, son-in-law and 15 month old grandson. Yet another good one. This is how it went:

Monday 19th March 2018

Eurotunnel to France and drove to Ypres.

Booked in at the good old Ariane - a fantastic place to stay and always of high standard.

Time in Ypres - met a few friends.

Evening meal at L'Atelier (run by a friend's family) excellent Flemish Stew.

Tuesday 20th March 2018

After breakfast at Ariane drove to:

The Huts CWGC to pay our respects to A. Langan.

Dozinghem to pay our respects to H. Lawrence.

To St. Sixtus to drink beer (3x12's!) and eat cheese.

To Canada Farm to pay our respects to E.A. Copsey and G. Welsby.

Evening meal at L'Atelier - excellent fish.

Last Post.

Wednesday 21st March 2018

After breakfast at Ariane drove back to Eurotunnel.

I will post a few pictures.

Best regards.

Stephen (Maldon).

Lance Corporal Harry Lawrence, Norfolks, at Dozinghem. Had a chat with a CWGC gardener and gave him a copy of my book.

Where is the restaurant you mentioned? We're going in October and looking for good places to eat in Ypres.
