Hi madman.

If you can get to the library, or take a free trial with FMP/wait for a free access period, they have some service papers here

Regards

Just had a wander thro my files, and I have quite a few Whiteheads, but none with the numb 14526. so I checked the East Lancs medal rolls, he's not in there either, Kew Nedal cards shows him as also 132468 R.A.M.C. Can't find that number in my files either.

Now you have me scratching my head, but one possibilty, was he a resident of Greater Accrington when he enlisted.
