Rick Law Posted 20 February , 2018 Share Posted 20 February , 2018 (edited) About seven years ago I started a search for information about my Great Uncle, Farquhar Mclennan, 58th Battalion, CEF. He was killed in action on June 13, 1916, in the Battle of Sanctuary Wood. As I researched I realized that there was a great story in the material. I found pictures in archives and from relatives and information from the Library and Archives in Ottawa. I have shared some of that material here in this Forum. Eventually, the story came together as a manuscript and the manuscript has gone to a publisher for release this spring. The story is a novel called "Flowers of the Forest". To help get my story out I have prepared a Website, aptly called "Flowers of the Forest". https://flowersoftheforest.ca I invite you to visit my website as I build it over the coming months. A few times a week I will add more posts and Pictures. This is my personal contribution towards the Centenary of the Armistice.
