2nd Lt. Cecil Thomas

If anyone can supply further information about Cecil Thomas it would be appreciated.  From the attached documents and what I have been told he had quite a war, in the SY as a Terrier before the war, he went out to Egypt where he suffered a broken back in 1917.... was medically discharged, then re-enlisted with the RFC and crash-landed near Deraa (Daraa) in Syria, taken prisoner, escaped and finished the war in one piece!

This is likely to be his full service file as an Army officer:

I think Cecil was Cecil George Henry Thomas...looking at the initials on the statement.
