PhilB Posted 14 February , 2018 Share Posted 14 February , 2018 This man`s Protection Certificate shows him to be in the Irish theatre of war though his unit was never posted there. His Statement of Disability shows him to have been medically examined at Ballyronain (which would account for the Irish ToW) which I take to be Ballyronan, N Ireland. I can`t find any reference to a WW1 hospital or establishment at such a place - can anyone help?
