Guest Posted 12 February , 2018 Share Posted 12 February , 2018 on a recent visit to Ypres I visited the menin gate memorial to see if I could find the name of a dear friend of ours whose uncle is inscribed on the monument. I wasn't able to locate it. However since returning to Canada, I have done more research and ( through Great War forum) have discovered some really interesting information. The uncle I researched is one Charles Bunting, service number 19472. Through reading some of the "posts" on gwf, I discovered that a person signing off as Victoria had also inquired into the same Charles Bunting, who was Victorias great uncle. Unfortunately Victoria's post was some time ago,September 2010. I would like to contact Victoria, but don't know if that would be possible. Can anybody help? Admin Michelle Young Posted 12 February , 2018 Admin Share Posted 12 February , 2018 Dear Richard you can try sending a personal messsage by clicking on the profile photo. Victoria hasn't been on the forum since 2014, but if she still has the same email, address as the one she registered with, you may be in luck.
