mbriscoe Posted 13 February , 2018 Author Share Posted 13 February , 2018 Not sure if it is going to open regularly. There was one councillor present and the Provost, who was showing children her chain and having phototgraphs taken. A side corridor had a wall covered in ships' crests but there were too many people around to easily photograph them.
Steven Broomfield Posted 13 February , 2018 Share Posted 13 February , 2018 Lovely. Do you think it's possible to arrange a visit? I will be up there again at some point this year and it would seem a shame to miss them. Whom might one contact, do you think?
mbriscoe Posted 13 February , 2018 Author Share Posted 13 February , 2018 Just checked and it was just open for the weekend. All I can suggest is EMailing to ask if it would be possible to visit - there is an EMail address on the BID page and probably also one on the main council pages
Steven Broomfield Posted 13 February , 2018 Share Posted 13 February , 2018 Thanks. When we have a visit planned I will do that. I've suggested Inverness as a retirement destination. Mrs Broomfield seems happy for me to go, but the daughter who lives there is less keen. Mrs Broomfield hasn't, as yet, expressed a preference for joining me.
