Marigold1 Posted 4 February , 2018 Share Posted 4 February , 2018 The 228th Coy of the Royal Engineers seem to have moved to Italy in November 1917 before returning to France in March 1918. Their war diary for this Italian period has not yet been digitised by the National Archives. Does anyone happen to know what the Company might have been involved in in Italy? Are there any electronic sources I might look at for information? Marigold
Ron Clifton Posted 4 February , 2018 Share Posted 4 February , 2018 (edited) Hello Marigold It continued to serve as one of the three Field Companies of 41st Division. All three companies' diaries are in file WO95/5242 at Kew. Ron Edited 4 February , 2018 by Ron Clifton
