All I know is I think he was in 7th east Yorkshire battalion. My gran told me he was a pow and that he had been gassed. He eventually made it home with what sounds like servers PTSD and respiratory illnesses. I would LOVE to pass on some info about him to my children and maybe find a photo of him. EAST YORKSHIRE Posted 29 January , 2018 Share Posted 29 January , 2018 In the meantime Shazabee, the Dinsdale list is up and running and Charles Dinsdale who runs it will try to answer any questions you have if you email him on his website, he may not get back to you straight away as he has been in and out of hospital of late, and he is in HRI as we speak!
