JMB1943 Posted 28 January , 2018 Share Posted 28 January , 2018 (edited) Can anyone post the War Office manufacturing specs for the Mk. I helmet with the small brim attached that covered the "raw edge" ? Alternatively, the specs in the Patent granted to J.L. Brodie would also be very useful. JMB1943 Posted 28 January , 2018 Author Share Posted 28 January , 2018 Hello 265, Although it does not provide the actual dimensions etc that I am seeking, the patent claim is still a very interesting read. Brodie seems more focused on the medical benefits of the liner, than on the ballistic benefits of the helmet shell. I wonder if that was done deliberately, to throw potential competitors off the track of his claim for a cheap, readily-produced helmet.
