A conundram solved I think

The other evidence which makes me think that the St Olave may be pertinent is that the 1911 census Wm and Rose say they had 5 children born alive of which 2 living. There are Birth records for a Wm Charles in StOlave, George in StOlave and Fred in Ongar District. They all died in infancy. The first 2 Died before William was born and Fred in1901. Circumstantial I grant. But birth certificates would exclude or prove. My theory is Junior was Wm Chas, born 1899 and died in 1924. But as said before tbc. Amner is a rare name so a process of elimination may be used. This theory means that the WJ on the memorial is senior. If junior was in poor health it may explain why we cannot find evidence of further service. But all theories that require proof.

But did William Junior serve under the name Thomas Cain? The name Cain brings up Williams attestation papers.
