It is said that during the withdrawal from Fogaras there was an incident: following the abandonment of the city, the Romanian troops forgot to evacuate the hospital train from the city train station, which they only realized when they arrived at Sercaia. A locomotive was sent to take the gasket, and it did not encounter resistance in the station. However, then it was realized that in fact two gaskets had to be discharged. When they returned after the second, the Austro-Hungarian troops were already in the station, and the Romanian mechanics have been greeted with gunfire, which made evacuation difficult.
