Help with Identifying Scots Guards officers

Hello,

I have a photograph of some Scots guards soldiers post ww1 (I think around 1922/23,definitely pre 1930's). Two of the officers (a Captain and Lieutenant) in the photo seem to have 1914 stars and i'm wondering if anyone has any knowledge of who they may be. I was under the impression (from my own interest in the SG with further reading) that near enough all original 1914 officers were either POW's or KIA from both Btn's.

Any help would  be great,

Will

For context as to why i believe the photograph is the age I've stated. My great great uncle James looking very young (born 1896, joined 1910, left for France with the first wave of the 2nd Btn on the 7th of October 1914).

In both those cases, the first medal ribbon is that of the British War Medal - not that of the 1914 or 1914/15 Star...
