Hi, My Grandfather was an Ottoman Lieutenant in the World War 1. He was taken POW by British and sent to Burma. In the records I have date of POW is 12 February 1917. I am assuming possible he was captured in the retake of Kut by British Army.

I am after any literature, records of Turkish POW in the region during WW1.

Appreciate your help.

The Reports on British prison-camps in India and Burma, visited by the International Red Cross Committee in February, March and April, 1917 can be read here https://archive.org/details/reportsonbritish00inteuoft
