Bertan Baran Posted 4 January , 2018 Share Posted 4 January , 2018 Hi, My Grandfather was an Ottoman Lieutenant in the World War 1. He was taken POW by British and sent to Burma. In the records I have date of POW is 12 February 1917. I am assuming possible he was captured in the retake of Kut by British Army. I am after any literature, records of Turkish POW in the region during WW1. Appreciate your help. Regards Bertan Baran
