Dazscuba Posted 1 January , 2018 Author Posted 1 January , 2018 Charles thanks I think. Don’t get what you are saying but how will I find the Regimental, Divisional or Battalion Diaries? On Ancestry?
Phil Evans Posted 1 January , 2018 Posted 1 January , 2018 WO 95/874 is the relevant war diary reference - 10 Corps Troops. The section you want is WO 95/874/3 if you are going to use NA. Basic hierarchy of the Army (Long Long Trail link) Phil
clk Posted 1 January , 2018 Posted 1 January , 2018 Hi, Ancestry took their 'cut' of diaries at the divisional level (and below), so as corps troops you won't find it on their site. Phil's linked to it at the National Archives, but it would cost £3.50. Regards Chris
Dazscuba Posted 1 January , 2018 Author Posted 1 January , 2018 Thanks for that. I can find stuff in the Cyclist Divisions. eg first one out of loads is 14th Division, 2 Divisional Cyclist Company could i find his on Ancestry?
