Would anyone know what the location of the 48th Field Ambulance was in Novemer 1918? Many thanks.

War Diary 48 FA on Ancestry here if you subscribe

They were at 'the convent' at  Solesmes "(E1.9.7.1.2) Sheet 53(?)B"  on the 4th November 1918 and took in 47 wounded and 49 sick.  There's quite a lot of info on the Abbey/Convent online https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Cecilia's_Abbey,_Solesmes

Dear Ken

i am so grateful to you for that information.  I hope to visit the area with my two brothers on the anniversary of my grandfather's wounding and it will be excellent indeed to know where the Field Ambulance that treated him was.
