William died 23 Mar 1918, and is remembered on the Pozieres Mamorial but can anyone decode the description of place of death in the soldiers Effects register?

 I read the Abbreviations as

23/3/18 Officially Accepted  on or   France

The soldier in question will have been reported as missing in the field  during the German Spring Offensive

Presumed to have died, on the 23/3/1918 his body lost to the battlefield

Ray has the meaning right. The words in question are "officially accepted as on...." ...the above date.
