Annette Carson Posted 7 December , 2017 Share Posted 7 December , 2017 Can anyone please identify the date (even approximately) on which Captain H.S. (Hubert) Broad, RNAS, brought a Sopwith Tripe to Sutton's Farm - described as 'early 1918' - when he engaged in a mock dog-fight with a Sopwith F1 Camel? In case it provides a clue, Broad is said to have been on instructional and test flying duties at the time while recovering from injury. I can't vouch for this latter comment. Sutton's Farm was at the time home to No. 78 HD Squadron. Thanks if anyone can suggest a date. Annette
