clk Posted 23 November , 2017 Share Posted 23 November , 2017 Hi DaveC, From the few pages in his "service record" it appears that George was originally number 16921 (?) East Yorkshire Regiment, transferring to the West Riding Regiment on 7th June 1916. Image Source: Findmypast - WW1 Service Records collection His fitness for overseas service (and inoculation and vaccination records) are recorded under the authority of the medical officer in charge of 3/East Yorkshire Regiment. George has a surviving will - £10 from here, but would probably tell you little, or nothing extra. Regards Chris
