ND Scott (19th April 1916)

Does anyone have any information regarding the circumstances under which 2/Lt. ND Scott was killed in an aeroplane accident on 19th April 1916 (Thetford). I am assuming that No. 35 Squadron was involved in some way, but I don't know whether he was hit by one of its aircraft or whether he was flying in the aircraft involved

Killed 24th April 1916 at Thetford

Thank you for the comprehensive feedback. His service record confirms that he was with No. 35 Squadron at the time (his casualty card shows 9RS).

 

I will now have to see if I can tie the information in with an aircraft loss.
