petet Posted 8 October , 2017 Share Posted 8 October , 2017 Does anyone have any information regarding the circumstances under which 2/Lt. ND Scott was killed in an aeroplane accident on 19th April 1916 (Thetford). I am assuming that No. 35 Squadron was involved in some way, but I don't know whether he was hit by one of its aircraft or whether he was flying in the aircraft involved Your usual help would be much appreciated Regards Pete

petet Posted 9 October , 2017 Author Share Posted 9 October , 2017 Thank you for the comprehensive feedback. His service record confirms that he was with No. 35 Squadron at the time (his casualty card shows 9RS). I will now have to see if I can tie the information in with an aircraft loss. Regards (and thanks again for your time and effort) Pete
