Hospital Ship 'MAGIC' - any details?

I have been looking at the records for Nursing Sister Sarah Edith McLelland, Q.A.R.N.N.S.  Her service record {on ADM 104} shows that she was transferred to Hospital Ship 'Magic' on 17th December 1914. She left the ship, sick, on 24th December 1915. The only H.M.S. Magic I can find is a Destroyer launched in 1915. Could the Hospital Ship Magic be a merchant ship taken into naval service? Has anyone any details of this ship?

Thanks for your reply John.

This explains the 2 ships having the same names. I couldn't see a War Diary on the National Archives for Magic.
