Chinese Labour Corps The Forgotten Army

Forgotten by some perhaps but I always pay my respects when I'm passing the Chinese Cemetery at Nolette / Noyelles-sur Mer. Wonderful place designed by Lutyens. Their hospital was nearby and they had a large camp at Crecy.

The above reference to the Chinese Labour Corps is being added to the CEF Study Group "List of Recommended Great War Websites".  Borden Battery

The Chinese Labour Corps - The forgotten army of the first world war            (South China Morning Post)

A well-done website which provides a good overview of the Chinese Labour Corps in the Great War.  Photographs, maps and background of interest to the reader.  [Recommended by RaySearching-GWF]

When visiting France with my school we always took the children to visit Noyelles to reinforce the forgotten and unknown to many
