Cline O'Lone Posted 30 September , 2017 Share Posted 30 September , 2017 (edited) Hans Cecilia O'lone is believed to have emigrated to Canada, but at the outbreak of war joined Royal Canadian Nursing Corp. Apparently served in France and was Decorated any imformation would be appreciated. Her names unusal could she be of dutch origin ? think she married Michael O'lone who was KIA. alf mcm Posted 30 September , 2017 Share Posted 30 September , 2017 Cline, Michael O'Lone's Canadaian service records, available at http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/discover/military-heritage/first-world-war/personnel-records/Pages/item.aspx?IdNumber=547509 show that he was un-married when he died. In his will he left everything to his sister, Mrs Catherine Black. The Canadian service records include those for Nursing Sisters, but not one Hans Cecilia O'lone. The nearest match is for Nano Cecilia Oloane http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/discover/military-heritage/first-world-war/personnel-records/Pages/item.aspx?IdNumber=547505 who was a Trained Nurse, and unmarried.
