Guest Posted 2 September , 2017 Share Posted 2 September , 2017 Hi, I required this this morning and wondered if anyone could give me an estimate price and some more information on it. I am really captivated by it! Alyssa
AOK4 Posted 2 September , 2017 Share Posted 2 September , 2017 Value: 10 to 15 euros perhaps I would say. You see this kind of documents regularly. It was just a commemorative certifacte that someone had handed in gold and received paper marks instead. Similar objects and documents are easy to find. depaor01 Posted 2 September , 2017 Share Posted 2 September , 2017 Interesting piece. Was that document presented with the iron "I gave iron for gold" coin or instead of it? Dave

Dave The coin is just a private thing. This document is a semi-official certificate in my opinion. Jan
trajan Posted 3 September , 2017 Share Posted 3 September , 2017 I remember an ex-girlfriend's mum in Hannover having the iron watch-chain her father had received as part of this 'Gold for Iron' campaign, but I suspect that any certificate that came with probably got left behind in Konigsberg in the winter 1944/45!
