Chris_B Posted 28 August , 2017 Share Posted 28 August , 2017 Perhaps someone can put me straight, but I couldn't find a list of actual dates on which the various classes of men were notified of their call up. I needed to now the date for a man born in 1889, class 9. Unless I missed, it the schedule is not part of the MH47-142 files you can download for the NA. wesleycj Posted 9 November , 2017 Share Posted 9 November , 2017 Interesting that the clipping uses the phrase "commenced to be called up". Obviously all those men could not be called up on 3 March, so not sure it answers your question about when Class 9 were "notified" Did they notify in order of class or was it at random across Class 2 to 12? Can anyone give any examples from notifications that are in the soldier's records
